Cozy stay with fab food!
Had a lovely 1 night as a couple. The location is super convenient and it was a nice surprise to have our room ready early! Dinner choices were tasty and good value. Breakfast was delish with a pancake machine – my husband was over the moon! Only wish the bathroom was a bit cleaner.

Charming historical character with modern amenities, Well-appointed guest rooms, Spacious and comfortable event rooms
Noise issues from nearby weddings and corridors could be disruptive!!! Clarify signage to avoid confusion in the maze-like layout!!! Enhance attention for special occasions like anniversaries to enrich the experience!!!

I thoroughly enjoyed the charming decor with its original wooden beams and comfortable seating areas, making it easy for seniors to navigate and relax. The warm ambiance truly added to the delightful atmosphere during my stay.
More assistance during check-in would be helpful.

The location is excellent, just a few minutes from town, and the gardens are beautifully maintained. Rooms are spacious, clean, and equipped with a useful fridge. The shower pressure was impressive, and the staff provided attentive service throughout our stay. access to the train station could be complicated for those unfamiliar with the area, and the dining area was quite busy during breakfast peak times, which impacted the service speed.

I had a lovely night away with my family and really enjoyed the comfy vibes in the lounge bar and the delicious buffet breakfast. The garden area was a great spot to relax and soak in the fresh air. There’s a cozy TV room for downtime. One small downside was the breakfast rush, but it didn't spoil our experience at all. 😊

The Executive Double Room was really nice. The bed was firm but comfy, and the pillows were soft, which helped me sleep well. The bathroom was spacious too, featuring a large walk-in shower. There was also a fridge and tea/coffee-making stuff in the room, which is always a plus. I appreciated the nice furniture and overall decor. Felt like a good amount of space—definitely not cramped at all.

Well-decorated Executive Double Room with a firm bed and a large walk-in shower provided comfort during my stay. Good parking and attentive breakfast staff made mornings pleasant. I faced slow service during afternoon tea, where staff seemed oblivious to our needs, detracting from the experience. While the hotel's location is convenient for nearby attractions, the lack of service responsiveness leaves room for improvement.

missingWrote a review on Jul 18historical characterserene gardensmodern amenitiespoor soundproofing
The venue carries a charming mix of historical character and modern amenities, giving the place a warm, inviting atmosphere. The gardens offer a serene space to unwind, adding to the overall appeal for a relaxing stay.
Sound insulation proved to be a significant issue. Adjoining rooms with just a door made for a noisy experience during the night, and the thin walls allowed hallway noise to seep through. the breakfast setup felt rushed, impacting the leisurely start to the day. I found the early checkout charge a bit off-putting since the overall price didn’t match the value of those amenities. Lastly, the dining options lacked variety, leaving little to choose from, especially for those with dietary restrictions.
